He has also worked as a director and writer in His New Hands, a family drama short, starring Jakobe Dempsey, Jayce Dempsey, and Freddy Harris. It premiered in competition at Hong Kong International Film Festival and was awarded the prestigious Remi Gold Prize for Best Dramatic Shot.
