Sromona Ghose

Sromona Ghose is an art professional who works in the Bengali television industry. She has been working as an executive producer for various television shows for more than a decade. Sromona was born in Kolkata, West Bengali, and is a Bengali by birth. She completed her formal education in Patha Bhavan, Kolkata, after which she got enrolled into the Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She completed her undergraduation as well as postgraduation from the same university. She graduated in the year 2011 and holds a master’s degree in Comparative Literature. She is also a certificate holder in translation with an impressive grade.

Sromona started her career right from the time she was a student. She worked as a copywriter for a private firm called Adking Publicity Service for around two years before hopping onto the position of executive producer in the prominent Bengali channel, Star India. She has also worked as the Senior Executive Producer in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited for two years and later got promoted as the Senior Manager in the same firm. She has also been part of Star Jalsha as Senior Producer.

In 2017, Sromona was awarded Star TV Network’s ‘Young achiever’s award,’ becoming the very first and only one from the eastern zone to be realized as a young achiever in the category.
