. Tapan received awards for acting skills from several organizations, institutions, and schools. Tapan founded two movie production companies, Joytara Pictures, and T.S. Films International. The 1981 film Uplabdhi (meaning Realization) marked his début in writing, producing, and directing. Tapan has successfully written, directed, and made seven movies since that time. Later, Tapan made three Bengali movies. The films Tapan is working on now are Lost Love, and Chimera. These two Hollywood films are in California, USA. The title part of the film Chimera has been cast with Billy Zane by Tapan.
Tapan Saha had his film career spanning over three decades. Tapan directed “Agami Kal” in 1983, “Amar Bandhan” in 1986, “Apan Por” in 1992, and “Chere Jas Na” in 2016.
