Sunny Ray is a Bengali director from Kolkata. He is known for his work in Bishakto Manush (2022), Do Not Disturb (2018) and Rubberband (2018). Ray graduated from Annamalai University. He has completed a diploma in Visual Effects for Film and Television from the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts). He has given many years of his life to the film industry as a film director, editor and screenwriter. He has also directed documentary films for the Government of West Bengal. He has written, directed and edited a Hindi feature film, Salt. Ray believes that as a filmmaker, it’s his responsibility to make films with archival and commercial value.
