Kamaleshwar Mukherjee

Kamaleshwar Mukherjee was a renowned actor, director & physician associated with the Bengali Film Industry. He was born on 25 October in Kolkata, West Bengal. He completed his education at St. Lawrence High School, Kolkata & did his graduation from Medical College and Hospital (MBBS) in Kolkata. Kamaleshawar transfer himself from the medical profession to group theatre for acting, then to the advertising world to enhance his portfolio, and then to Film Making. He started his career as a screenwriter in 2010 by writing dialogues, screenplays & songs for the movie Notabor Not Out. After that, he debuted a film as a director UroChithi was released in 2011.

After that, he released one more movie MegheDhaka Tara inspired by the life & works of Bengali Film Maker RitwikGhatak was a big hit movie. Like this, 2011 turn out to be a fantastic year for him. Like this, he released many movies as a director, such as ChanderPahar (2013), based on the novel BibhutibhushanBandiUpadhyay and second costlier film in Bengali Cinema and is still the second biggest blockbuster in Bengali Cinema. His hard work and passion for films were seen in many other movies like 13 Number Tarachand Lane (2015), Khawto (2016), cockpit (2017), Amazon Obhijaan (2017), which is a web series, Goodnight City (2018), and many more.

Kamaleshwar was also a good actor & made her cameo appearance in the movie MishawrRahasya (2013) and after that, he appeared in many movies such as Khaad (2014), Force (2014), Arshinagar (2015), DwitiyoPurush (2020), and many more.
