Indranil Roy Chowdhury is a popular Bengali director. He was born in 1971 in Bengal. He did his graduation in English from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 1992. But for his passion for films, he did a post-graduation diploma in Film Direction from FTII Pune in 1995. After his graduation, he worked as a freelance writer and director in Kolkata until 2000. After that, he started producing and directing TV shows, commercials, and corporate documentaries for Tropical Blue Entertainment and then for Flipbook. Indranil's first full-length feature film was Phoring, released in 2012. His other work includes Ekti Bangali Bhooter Goppo (2015), Mayar Jonjal (2020), and Debris of Desires (2020).
