Nandika Nath Mukherjee is a professional dancer and choreographer, and actor. She was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, and has completed her studies in Kolkata. She began dancing at the age of 4 and was inspired by her mother to learn to dance. Later, it developed into a passion for her, leading to her choosing dance as her career choice.

She began to learn classical dance form Kathak from a young age. She has trained under the guidance of her guru Shri Shankar Ghatak and received her Sangeet Bhushan with distinction from Pracheen Kala Kendra.

She had been introduced to Rabindra Nritya, which is a dance form performed with the lyrical compositions of Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore. She has completed her diploma in Rabindra Nritya.

She has also learnt Uday Shankar’s creative dance style. Alongside her dance lessons, she also learned Hindustani Classical Vocal from her father. This was favourable and helped her acquire Senior Diploma in Hindustani Vocal from Allahabad University.

She completed her studies and worked as a banker at a corporate firm. Later, she resigned from her job and decided to follow her passion as a dancer. She also enrolled for a diploma course in Attakkalari in Bangalore, but she had to withdraw from the course after three months.

Afterward, she obtained a scholarship to learn at Danceworx. She got trained professionally and was also introduced to the western forms and learned Jazz and social dancing for two years. Within a year, she became one of the Instructors and Choreographers of the Company - Bangalore branch. She also got opportunities to work with international schools and teach children to dance. She also choreographed at dance productions.

She gained a teacher’s training certificate in Yoga from Yoga Alliance. After which, she began her dance company- DANCEA. The company gained popularity quickly and had been recognised by international TV channels, which identified and telecasted the choreographies on their channel. The team was also invited to National Dance Festivals to showcase their performances.

She has worked in the Tollywood entertainment industry, and her artwork has released in the Telugu language web series.

Her work in TV series includes Sneham (2020), which is a Tollywood web series with Nandika in the lead role.
