Subir Bhattacharjee is a TV anchor cum presenter working in the Bengali entertainment industry. He was born and brought up in Raigunj and settled in Siliguri. Subir’s parents are Sarajit Bhattacharjee and Renuka Bhattacharjee. He completed his schooling from St. Peter's High School, Gayaganga and Raiganj Coronation High School. He graduated from the University of North Bengal. He is married to Jayati Bhattacharjee, an artist at Akashvani. The couple has a daughter, Sreejyoti Bhattacharjee.
Subir started his career as an anchor on DD Bangla in 2001. He also works at All India Radio, Siliguri, as a casual announcer since 2018. Subir hosts most of the music-related shows on DD Bangla. Besides being an anchor and announcer, he is a poetry presenter.
In 2020, he hosted Kritikatha, a musical interview show on DD Bangla. In 2021, he hosted Uttorer Janala on DD Bangla. In 2024, he anchored the show Sakal Sakal Live. The renowned and upcoming musicians are interviewed in this live show. In 2025, he hosted The Sahu River Music Festival.
