and Gultekin Khan. She completed her graduation from Holy Cross College. She married her friend Apu, but later, the couple split. In 2013, she married Asif Nazrul, a professor in the Law Department at Dhaka University. She played Lina in Kothao Keu Ni(1993-1994), Bilu in Priyo Podorekha(1992), Nila in Oija Board(1995), Polin in Nokkhotrer Raat(1997), Konka in Aaj Robibar(1999), and Khuab Konya in Kuabnagar(2002). She acted in Aguner Poroshmoni as Apala in 1994, for which she won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Shila has two children from her marriage with Apu, and a daughter with Asif Nazrul. After marriage, she quit films. Her brother
