Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a famous Bangladeshi actress, model, singer, writer, and development worker. She completed her bachelor's and master's in Political Science from Dhaka University. Later she did a master's in Early Childhood Development from BRAC University, Dhaka. Rafiath took dance classes for learning Kathak, Manipuri, and Bharat Natyam at Benuka Dance Academy and has also been a student at the Art School, Nandan. From the University of Geneva in Switzerland, she started her Ph.D. in December 2019. Mithila is presently working as the head of Early Childhood Development at BRAC, a Bangladeshi NGO. Mithila married a Bangladeshi musician and actor, Tahsan Rahman Khan, on 3 August 2006, and they divorced in July 2017. She married Srijit Mukherjee, an Indian director, on 6 December 2019. She has a daughter Ayra Tehreem Khan from her first marriage, born in 2013.

She began her modeling career with a cultural and fashion show of a fashion house Neelanjana Palli in 2002. Later, she appeared in Tv ads and commercials and soon became the brand ambassador for the brands like Close-Up toothpaste, Robi, Banglalink, Haier, and Huawei. Mithila has worked in many Tv series, music videos, dramas, telefilms, and movies. Ki Hole Ki Hoto by Arnob and Moyna Go and Ghum by Habib Wahid are popular music videos by Rafiath. In 2007, at the beginning of her career, she appeared in the comedy-drama telefilm X-Factor by Shihab Shaheen, starring Md Rafsan Jamil, Ziaul Faruq Apurba, and Khalid El Bargoni.
