Pallavi Mukherjee was born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is a model, a film actress, a TV actress and a dancer. Her real name is Pallabi Mukherjee. She changed into her screen name Pallavi Mukherjee soon after moving to Mumbai. Pallavi completed her schooling from Durgapur, Kolkata. She attended Ashutosh College, and pursued Psychology Honours.
She made her TV debut in the live Bengali stand-up comedy show Mirakkel in 2015. After that, she started getting offers and made her acting debut through Bengali television Meera in 2016. She appeared in a few other Bengali series such as Bhootu and Potol Kumar Ganwala. After getting noticed in Bengali series, she got offers from Hindi series and moved to Mumbai for Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chasha and Jhansi Ki Rani. She also appears in Alt Balaji’s much acclaimed webseries Gandi Baat Season 3 and recently appeared in yet another acclaimed web series Class of 2020.
