Rosalin Deepannita Martin who is highly known by her screen name Deepannita Martin is a popular and talented personality from Bangladesh. Rosalin has been a part of incredible projects such as “Gor,’’ which means The Grave a 2020 English and Bengali language Bangladeshi drama film directed and written by Gazi Rakayet and produced by the Bangladesh government and Impress Telefilm production house. This film revolves around the story of an Undertaker.

This movie was the Bangladeshi movie that was released in Hollywood on 14 May 2021 and was submitted for consideration in the general category of the 94th Academy Awards; as it is the first Bangladeshi film to be submitted in this category. Additionally, the movie was added to the 2022 Oscar Reminder List. In this movie, Deepannita portrayed the character of Honufa (a supporting role), “Payer Tolay Mati Nai,” which means No Ground Beneath the Feet is a 2021 drama film directed by Mohammad Rabby Mridha and written by Fazla Rabby. This film is about the life of an ambulance driver in Dhaka.

This film premiered at the 26th Busan International Film Festival and competed for the Golden Peacock Award at the 52nd International Film Festival of India in November 2021, and was also submitted for nomination in the Best International Feature Film category of the 96th Academy Awards by the Oscar Committee as Bangladeshi entry, but the film was not shortlisted.
