Well, his last venture Gangster may have bombed at the box office but director Aashiq Abu has bounced back with a bang. The beauty of his direction lies in the point that he elevates the simple story by an efficient presentation.
Plot: Rani and Padmini (played by Rima Kallingal and Manju Warrier respectively) are women of stark differences. Destiny has it that they bond together, and in that process, discover many things in life.
It's not the women alone who are in the process of self-realization in this flick. .Even the character Giri walk this path.

Star Performances

Manju Warrier is here to stay. That's what one feels after watching her performance as a matured married lady. Her spontaneous performance is just outstanding. On the other hand Rima Kallingal, as the tomboyish woman, fits her role to the T. Though Manju has all the great one-liners in the film, Rima nevertheless shows her class performance. Well, These women stun you!
Jinu Joseph, the husband of Manju, is no less compared to his female leads. He is also good in his performance. Sajitha Madathi, as the mother-in-law, does what is required of her. And to add to the bad streak to the story there is Sandeep Narayan and Hareesh Khanna. The cinematography of Madhu Neelakantan takes you to the beauty of Manali, Chandigarh and Ladakh in a beautiful manner. Well, he is the real hero of the film.

What's there?

1. The flick beautifully unravels the warrior in all of us.
2. The number Oru Marivilliney written by Rafeeq Ahamed is indeed a solace to the ears.
3. The child artists also have done a neat job.

What's not there?

1. The script could have been crafted in a better fashion, given the weight of it.
2. Certain scenes are quite boring.

Watch this beautiful film to feel its uniqueness. Women, be bold and face the world! That's what this movie wants to convey. Also, if you are a lover of trekking, this film is a must watch.
