Madhura Raja is scripted by “Udaykrishna” and directed by “Vysakh.” Gopi Sundar composes the music. Shaji Kumar cranked the camera and Mahesh Narayanan Sunil S. Pillai edited the film. Nelson Ipe Cinemas produced the film on a large scale. The film has the star cast of “Mammootty,” Jagapati Babu, “Jai,” Salim Kumar, “Siddique,” Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kalabhavan Shajon, Charan Raj, Anusree Nair, Anna Reshma Rajan, Shamna Kasim, “Narain,” Mahima Nambiar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Bala Kumar, Atul Kulkarni, Vinaya Prasad, Aju Varghese and Sunny Leone.

Natesan rules the city and wants to finish off the people, who are against him. A sincere cop was killed by Natesan and his loving wife and two kids were made orphans. Natesan uses the cops and flourishing his liquor business. When Madhavan Master, Raja’s father suffers a lot due to Natesan, Chinna was sent to stop Natesan’s atrocities. When Chinna couldn’t control Natesan’s atrocities, Raja comes to rescue the people.

Star Performance

As usual Mammootty has done an excellent job as Mathura Raja. His comical timing and action sequences are excellent. Jai played his role perfectly. Jagapati Babu is perfectly perfect as the villain. The rest of the stars had done what is required for their role.

As usual, the story is a mixture of comedy, sentiment and action. The action sequences by Peter Hein are fantastic. The screenplay moves at a right pace, but Mammootty’s entry took a lot of time and the fans lost their patience. The dialogues are witty and they discuss Prithviraj Sukumaran, who appeared in the previous part, Pokkiri Raja. The one-liners are good. The BGM gels well with the script and the cinematography is cool. While ending, the film intimates that there will be another sequel titled Minister Raja.

What’s There?

  • Performances of the stars are good
  • Action sequences are excellent

What’s Not There?

  • Certain scenes seem to be lengthy
  • A lot of logical loopholes

Madhura Raja is a good time pass not only for the Mega Star fans, but the general audiences. If you don’t see any logic in the films, then without any second thought, you could watch the film.
