Plot

British officer Clive grabs Mirza’s Kingdom. Mirza’s daughter, Princess Zafira and the well-trusted loyalist of the Kingdom Khudabaksh alias Azaad escape from the British and set up a gang of rebels and plan to defeat the British army and get back their Kingdom. Firangi is a thug, who favors the British. He was appointed to track the plans laid by Azaad and Zafira. What did he do? Did he favor the British or changed his mind to serve his motherland? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

When we see the performance of the artists separately, we will definitely say that they had done an excellent job. But, did they set as a whole team? The answer would definitely be No. Amitabh had done a great job in his role as Azaad; similarly, Aamir’s body language is perfect.

Analysis

With the huge budget, the director has planned an international kind of movie. But, the star selection slips. Although all the stars are talented ones and their performance couldn’t be misjudged, not all of them fit in their roles in Thugs of Hindostan. The songs are not much impressive. With the popular stars in the cast, the music should have been concentrated well. The cinematography is excellent and the production designs too. The CGI works are also good and kudos to the graphics team. The dialogues by Big B is attractive and his delivery is stunning.

Performance of Amitabh and Aamir is a plus

What’s Not There?

The stars didn’t fit in their roles
The screenplay should have been well made
Katrina has been just used in the film for songs
Fatima’s action sequences are not much impressive

Verdict

Although the film has a good star cast with huge CGI works, it didn’t attract. With the loose screenplay, the film fails to impress the audiences. Yet, it could be watched once for its grandeur making.
