A rich billionaire, who is not able to accept the fact that ups and downs are a part and parcel of the life, feels defeated and demotivated.
PLOT:
Eric Packer, a 28-years-old billionaire, is traveling in his car, that is in traffic. A protest by anti-capitalists was going on outside the car. They spray paint his white limo and carry rats and do their protest. Eric had a regular checkup in his car, and worries about his asymmetrical prostate problem. He is also worried about the unsuccessful investments that he did; that led to huge loss for him. Eric gets vexed and kills his bodyguard.
He gets a revolver from a barber, who knows Eric’s father very well. Intentionally Eric shoots in his hand. Eric meets Richard Sheets, his potential murderer, who explains to him that everything will not be symmetric in life, and also points to his prostate problem, quoting that even his organs are not symmetric. The movie concludes with Sheets pointing a gun towards Eric.

’ is given, that denotes the entire life of the protagonist inside his car. This movie is adapted from a novel that was written by Don DeLillo. The Limo itself acts like the world, and Eric does many activities inside it. He isolates himself from the outer world; that is outside the Limo.

acts as Eric's wife, who is not satisfied, and tries to get separated from him, quoting his loss for a reason. Robert Pattinson did a different role when compared to his previous role in 'Twilight.' Here he portrays his role as a man, who lives on others hard work, and does not care about other people. Most of the characters come for one scene, and never appears on the screen later. Also, this means that no one has got a huge role in Eric's life. Pattinson's performance as an isolated man is good. The director and the actor together explain on how the people are becoming inhumane when they get under the spell of money.

Get to know the real face of the upper world through Eric.
