Vijay Sethupathi, who started his career as a villain in a few films, including Sundarapandian with “M Sasikumar,” impressed the South audience with his natural performance. In “Petta,” Karthik Subbaraj took him back to his old format, villain. After that film, Vijay Sethupathi played in a negative shade in a couple of movies, including “Master” with Vijay and “Uppena,” a Telugu film. The actor joined Kamal Haasan in “Vikram,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film also has Fahadh Faasil in an important role.

Not many heroes love to do villain roles after setting a solid position in the cinema industry. Vijay Sethupathi is an exception. The actor has now created a huge hype for his role in Vikram with Kamal. He has a lot of films on his kitty, including the long-delayed “Maamanithan,” and Yaadhum Oorae Yaavarum Kelir. He also has a couple of Hindi films, Merry Christmas and “Mumbaikar,” a Malayalam film 19(1) (a), and a Tamil movie, “Viduthalai.”
