Rama Krishna more familiarly known as Kode Rama Krishna is a legendary Indian film director and writer. He predominantly worked in Telugu and Tamil fields. He hails from Palakollu of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He has a film experience of 30 years and has directed above 100 films. He is the director who can mesmerize audience with special visual effects. He integrated movies with technology indulged in them. One can see envy, revenge and drama as key ingredients of his movies. He is well-known for his fantasy movies. His first movie is Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya is a blockbuster and has run 525 days continuously without a break. He has worked with many of the top stars of South India like Chiranjeevi, Bala Krishna, Venkatesh, etc., He has dealt with all varieties of films like political films, female oriented, romance, etc., some of his masterpiece works are Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Talambralu, Ankusam, Aahuthi. He doesn’t require a hero to make it hit he can make a movie hit just with the child actors. Devullu movie is a perfect example for this. Devi movie, released in 1999 changed the dimensions of Tollywood fame. The graphics he used for Anji movie bagged National award for the movie. Female oriented movie Arundhati, directed by him is a blockbuster in Telugu and has been remade into various languages. The movie made Anushka a star overnight and gifted the producer with huge profits. After Arundhati he has not started any further works because he has been suffering of ill-health. Rama Krishna is the aspiration for many of the young directors in Tollywood.
