Mukesh Tiwari is an artist known for his work in the movie Gangajal, Golmaal and The Legend of Bhagat Singh. He is known for playing negative and comic side roles. He entered the film industry in the year 1998 with the movie China Gate in which he played the role of Jageera. He had a small but significant role in the movie. Many directors recognized his acting skills. Thus, in the year 2000, he starred in the movie called Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke. The movie was a huge failure but since Mukesh had a small role in the movie, it didn’t have much effect on his career. Thus, in 2001 Mukesh appeared in many movies. He exclusively appeared in either supporting roles or negative roles. He played the role of Danny Mendoza in the movie Aaghaaz in 2001.

In the same year, he appeared in two other movies namely Farz and Refugee in which he played a bad guy. In the following year, he became the first choice of every director for a negative role. In 2001, he played the role of Pagla Jaan in the movie Mitti. After that, he appeared in Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, in which he played the role of Raman Dholakia. The movie received mixed reviews at the box-office, but Mukesh’s work was appreciated by most of the critics. He gained excellent recognition in the year 2002 when he appeared in the movie, The Legend of Bhagat Singh. Mukesh’s acting was breathe-taking.

After that, every director wanted him in his movie playing either a side role or a villain. He did more than ten movies in 2003. Some of his mentionable work in 2003 were in the movie Zameen, in which he played the role of Baba Zaheer, and in the movie Gangajal, in which he portrayed the role of Bacha Yadav. He gave an extraordinary performance in both these movie and is still remembered for his work in the movie Gangajal. His most memorable performance was in the movie LOC Kargil in 2003. He played the role of Lt Col Aasthana. It was one of the fewer times when he played a good guy in a movie. After that, he appeared in a lot of movies which include Dil Pardesi Ho Gya, Tarzan – The Wonder Car, Tango Charlie, Mangal Pandey, Ho Sakta Hai, and many more.
