Promita Banik

Promita Banik was born on 26th April 1990 in Kolkata, India. This bong beauty is an Indian model and actress. This young and sensuous actress has appeared in some Bollywood movies, TV commercials and some Indian TV series. She is also a quite popular model and dancer. Promita started her career as a model in Kolkata and Mumbai in some jewelry campaigns, calendar shoots and magazines.

In November 2011, her glamorous allure got featured on the cover page of ‘The Debonair Magazine’, November issue and she had pictorial features of four pages dedicated to her. Eventually, she started her acting career in a south Asian 2nd generation movie “PyarMain Kyun(2012)” directed by Hyder Bilgrami.

She appeared in a vital role in this movie where she was playing a character of a model. The storyline revolves around an all grown up 35-year-old man and a 19 years old teenage girl. This film was about how they fall in love at first sight, romance, heart-wrenching deception, the drama between them in this socially networked and globally connected generation.

Promita did a fabulous job in playing her character. Promita did cameo appearances in Bollywood films like Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo(2013), Pyar Ka Punchnama(2011), U R My Jaan(2011), etc. She has appeared in some Bengali serials. She was a contestant in Gladrags Mega-model and manhunt contest, 2010. Gladrags is an Indian Magazine which conducts this contest to promote the winner in the Magazine. She also appeared in the MTV show- ‘Unlock truth’.
