The Telugu Filmfare Awards 2008 had the exact amount of emotions, glitz, and glamor. It was the 55th Tiger Balm Filmfare Awards. The award show was one of its kind. The show was a perfect mixture of feelings and fun. It gave the audience and viewers misty-eyes, warmed the hearts of all, and brought a lump to their throats, all at the same time. The Tiger Balm Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award was given to none other than Sivakumar. He received this award from his two able-bodied and proud sons, Karthi and Surya. It was a moment of respect and gratitude for all the audience.
While he was on the stage, Surya called out his mother to share the stage when their father was honored with so much respect. Things like these show that no matter what the world says, we have and will always have within us the values and morals taught by our elders. There was no one in the audience who was dry-eyed at that moment. The show started when Sindhura and Madhavan came and invited the people to experience a show of their lifetime. The award show took place at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. All the audience were extremely excited. The show went on for around four hours. Rama Rao Jr. won the award for the movie Yamadonga. Sindhura and Madhavan entertained the audience with their jokes and poise.
While the show was going on, Maddy went to the guests seated in the audience to start an interaction. He asked Tabu to sing a song for the people. They did a lot of fun with all the people. The award for Best Music Director went to Mickey J. Meyer. He got the Award for his movie Happy Days Happy Days is a Telugu-language show on ETV Telegu >> Read More... . Trisha won the Best Actress Award for her much appreciated work in the movie Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule. The Telugu Filmfare Best Movie award undoubtedly was won by Happy Days.
