Wild Frank is originally a Spanish language TV show that aired on the channel DMAX. It has been bought by Discovery channel Tamil and aired on Fridays at 9 pm. The programme was produced by Molinos de Papel. The protagonist is Frank Cuesta, a specialist in reptiles and amphibians. Frank has worked most of his life trying to protect the endangered species. The show had seventeen seasons and 84 episodes. Frank Cuesta visits the wilderness, lives with the local tribes in some places, and in some places, he finds/makes a shelter for himself and lives among the wild. He also explores the different catastrophes that have taken place in the jungles over the years and find out the reasons so that the people can prevent them from happening again. In the first season, he took up Dani Alves’ challenge and goes to the Brazilian forest, where he meets the two American tribes, the Satere Mawe and the Desana, and arranges a soccer match between the children of the two tribes.
He faces off with a poisonous snake, gets bitten by a Piranha, and shows us a few amazing animals. In the second season, he travels the jungles of Africa in search of their five main mammals, rhinoceros, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and lion. In the third season, he explores the Asian continent for the Bengal tiger. In the fourth season, Frank goes back to South Africa to learn about the African lion from Darren, a wildlife expert. There they both exchange challenges that Frank needs to accomplish in Africa and Darren in Thailand. In the fifth season, Frank embarks on a journey to the Mexican jungle, to learn about the Mayan prophecies. In the sixth season, Frank sets out to Thailand and Indonesia to learn the local myths and legends of dragons. He likes to believe that they exist. The seventh season turned out to be an evolutionist’s dream come true.
Frank dives into Darwin’s theories of evolution and learns that the evolution of the environment is a preliminary study to take up before the evolution of species. He goes to Australia to study the myriad of species. Season eight is dedicated to dealing with animal trafficking. He gives the viewers a detailed presentation of the issue and the work involved in rehabilitating those animals. In the ninth season, Frank follows the footsteps of Tarzan and explores the natural wealth of California. The Black mamba is known to be the deadliest snake in the world due to its venom. In the tenth season, Frank Cuesta, being a snake lover, sets out in the jungles of Africa in search of a black mamba, hoping he could hold it in his hands. In the eleventh season, Frank goes to Italy and explore their culture for a change. He also visited the wildlife. The twelfth season features Frank’s struggle to denounce the situation of the flatland gorillas, one of the critically endangered species. In the thirteenth season, Frank left the wilderness and tried to understand the problem in the civilisation, bullfighting.
This is a common sport in Spain that has both followers and detractors. In the fourteenth season, Frank goes back to Thailand to fight the animal trafficking problem. In the fifteenth season, Frank went back to Spain to deal with hunting and poaching. The sixteenth season is devoted to showing how they make the show, how they catch the animals, and everything behind the scenes. The seventeenth season is dedicated to Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente, the father of environmentalism in Spain.

Wild Frank also captures the Leopard. Frank gives all the details about the animal in front of him, its hunting style and how deadly the animal is. Frank loves all the animals even the dangerous ones like Leopard. Frank also explores the Amazon forests alone. The tribal people from the forests are also interviewed. These people talk in their native languages. Frank deciphers this native language into a language understandable by his audience.
