Ultimate Season 1 is a Tamil reality web series that premiered on the OTT platform Hotstar. It is the spin-off of Bigg Boss Tamil and is a digital version. The season was hosted by Kamal Hassan and later by Silambarasan. The concept of Bigg Boss originally is that different people come together to live in one house for a specific period of time. They perform tasks together, live together, make friendships and bonds, and yet compete with each other. Every week one participant gets evicted from the show on the basis of votes. This show is a little different in terms of the selection of the participants. The contestants who have already taken part in the previous seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil will take part again in this season except for the winners. The fresh contestants who were never a part of any season will only be able to enter the house as wildcards.
