Vandhatu Neeya is a supernatural drama serial that was premiered and broadcasted on Colors Tamil. The serial itself serves kind of a 5th instalment to the famous series known as ‘Nagini’. The serial was premiered on 3rd April 2021 and revolves around two separate individuals who happen to have powers of their own. The serial picks right after the marriage of Nagini and the eagle. Considering that the marriage is unpleasant from both ends, they are cursed to give birth to a child who is basically a mythical abomination. Their son named as Rehan Singaram is portrayed as a very powerful vampire who drinks blood and is the centre of chaos, rebellious nature and utter destruction. As his powers grow, he tries to find himself and his true source of powers.
In his journey of self-discovery he meets a woman named Priya. She is portrayed as an angelic hybrid, half-human and half-angel. However, her true powers remain hidden from Rehan. As the story progresses several new twists are introduced which test them to no bounds. Will Rehan discover the whole truth or will Priya betray his trust and whether Rehan will turn to the dark-side is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
