Setting rules for the family to follow, Saraswati is exposed as a strict household leader. Everyone should follow her orders, and they have to agree with whatever she decides. She enjoys the power she has over her family members. Pugazh goes against Saraswati for the first time by marrying Aruvi. Saraswati feels bad about this. Also, Aruvi breaks all the barriers set by Saraswati. These things create a tense atmosphere around them. How Pugazh manages to bring peace between them becomes the storyline here.
