Preeti Puri or Preeti Puri Choudhary is an Indian actress who gained fame and popularity after appearing as Renu Manohar Chaturvedi in the drama serial, ‘Aaj Ki Housewife Hai… Sab Jaanti Hai’ on Zee TV. Preeti also played as Tanisha in the Hindi serial, Mamta on Zee TV and from there she met Vipin Choudhary, Sunshine Production’s Head of Operations. Born on October 23, Shikha Swaroop hails from a Punjabi-speaking Kayastha family. She is from Delhi. She acquired her degree from the much famous St Stephen's College. She won the Miss India 1988 title. She kept on wearing this crown until 1991 when she lost it to Preeti Mankotia. Ashwini Kalsekar is an Indian actress who is very famous for doing soap operas and films. She was born on January 22, 1970 at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She was the daughter of a bank employee, Anil Kalsekar. She graduated her Bachelor of Arts in Bombay on the year 1991. Ashwini pursued her theatre career on year 1991 to 1994 as a backup. Kitu Gidwani is a model and an actress from India. She was born on October 22, 1967 at Mumbai, India from a Sindhi household who moved to Pakistan after the India’s Partition. They reside in a refugee camp located in Worli in Mumbai. Kitu made her schooling at the Fort Convent School, Mumbai. Brij Mohan worked with TV channels and wrote a screenplay for them. There were some series in which he acted as actor and people adored his character very much. Manav Sohal is a multitalented actor, writer, producer, director and dialogue writer. Manav works predominantly in the Bollywood film industry. Raj made a cameo appearance as Kirtaaf who abducted Perizaad (played by Pooja Banerjee) and Kasim (played by Rajbeer Singh) to make Zargam (played by Chandan Anand) happy.

Govind Khatri is an Indian film and television actor who portrayed the character of Karna the television series, Shri Krishna. He also played as Mr. Chadda on SAB TV’s Sonu Sweety in 2009. In 2011, the actor also bagged a role in the comedy series, ‘Hi! Padosi… Kaun Hai Doshi?’ on Sahara One. The second season of the series was changed from comedy to drama series because of some changes in the concept and the title was also changed to Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage. Govind donned the role of Harbans Lal Mehta, the father of Bittu (played by Giriraj Kabra) in the series.

Ajit Mehra is an Indian veteran actor with over two decades of experience in the industry. He acted in Shakitmaan, a television show that was once the most popular and loved by the audience, particularly children. It got aired on DD national and is still popular. He played the role of Swami Ji in this show. He appeared in two DD national series, Shaktiman and Kridar (1993-1994). Faqeer Nabi, also known as Faqir Nabi, was a popular Indian and Afghan film actor. He was born in 1953 in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has a daughter named Nazma Nabi and a wife. Although he was an Afghan citizen, he wanted to do his acting course in India. He applied to the National School of Drama, New Delhi, and did his course. He was in the same batch with actor Mukesh Khanna, Om Puri, Shakti Kapoor, and Naseeruddin Shah. Nabi made his film debut with "Siah Moye Jalali” (1978), an Afghan film. Initially, he struggled to get roles in the Hindi Television Industry.

Goga Kapoor or Ravinder Kapoor was an actor. He was born in Gujranwala, British India on 15th December 1940. He did many Bollywood movies in his career. He was always known for his negative image in Bollywood movies. He died at the age of 70 on 3rd March 2011 due to some disease.

Although belonging to Allahabad, where he did his schooling, Deepraj Rana settled for Chandigarh to do his higher education, and the Punjab link continued when he turned towards brushing up his acting skills finishing off as a post graduate from the Department of Theatre of Punjab University. From 1989, he had been associated with Nadira Babbar’s theatre troupe Ekjut, and the 5 years that he spent with them seems to have stood him in good stead. Not only did he bag several awards, but also obtained for him several positive references to enable him bag a role in the 1990 TV serial “Tara” opposite Ratna Pathak. Since then he seems to have had a prolific run, having acted in more than 12 popular TV serials across most of the major channels, with some like “Reporter” running for over 100 episodes. His other significant roles in TV serials have been in the historical, “The Great Maratha” and the typical soap operas “Yug” and “Shatranj”. Of more recent vintage have been the serials “Jai Hanuman”, an obvious mythological; and “Commando” where he portrays a crime fighter’s role. Incidentally, in the latter, he was teamed with his wife-to-be, Natasha.

Mohan Gokhale was an Indian movie actor, TV and theater performer who is famous for movies including Sparsh and MirchMasala. He was born on 7^th November 1953 in Pune. He had a great interest in theater since his childhood. Mohan had won several awards in intercollege competitions as well as at the state level.

Deepak Bhatia is an Indian TV actor. He has done movies like Ishq in 1997, Border in 1997, Jung in 2000, Qayamat in 2003 and Fox in 2009. He has acted in Bhojpuri movies also.

Nawab Shah is an Indian TV and film actor who started his career with small and minor roles with nondescript characters in TV serials. He was first noticed in the serial Saarathi on Star Plus during 2004. it was produced by Neela Telefilms and directed by Qayeed Kuwajerwala. The serial was a modern day Mahabharat and the story of fight between brothers and their families and resultant disaster. Nawab played the role of Mansen Goenka, the character comparable with Dhritarashtra. It was one of the main antagonist roles and the performance of Nawab was highly appreciated. He also put up a great performance in the role of Afzal Khan in the serial Veer Shivaji. 

Rajendra Gupta is a veteran Indian director, theatre, film and television actor. He was hailed from Panipat, Haryana, India and studied at Kurukshetra University. His father runs a textile business but Rajendra is more focused in working on theatre. He met Veena, his wife-to-be in Indore while he’s doing a play in college. But Veena’s parents are not in favor of their marriage so the two leave Bhopal and got married. They now have a daughter named, Ravee Gupta who works as an actress as well. In year 1972, Rajendra attended National School of Drama in New Delhi.

Kishore Bhanushali or Junior Dev Anand is a well-known Hindi film actor. He was born on year 1977 in Uttar Pradesh, India. Kishore has a son named Karan Bhanushali who is also an actor. Kishore is the duplicate of the late Bollywood actor, Dev Anand. Kishore usually does comedic roles but he was tired of being seen as a comedian. He said in an interview that he has regrets on being typecast on comedic roles and that nobody understands that he is an actor at first. Kishore who was born with looks that is almost similar to Dev Anand, needs to obtain everything about the late actor. The way he talks, eat, sit, walk and everything. Kishore thinks that it is not an easy task and requires a lot of hard work to act like him. 

Arvind Vakaria is a popular Gujarati film and theatre actor who has worked in a number of Gujarati movies and dramas. He is the father of Tanmay Vakaria who plays the character of Bagha in a famous Sab TV show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Vakaria is particularly known for acting in a Suspense Gujarati Drama called Chhanu Chamklo, which was directed by Arvind Vekariya himself along with Dilip Somaiya. He has also worked in a 2017 released Gujarati movie called Yashoda, directed by Devdas Menon and starring Vidur Gotawala, Mitul Lankapati, Falguni Rajani, Shekhar Shukla, Chirag Trivedi, Arvin Vekaria as the leading actors. Arvind is also associated with a 2018 released movie called Rupiyo Nach Nachave.

Ram P. Sethi aka Pyare Lal is an Indian actor who is mostly known for his supporting roles in Hindi films like Namak Halaal, Chameli Ki Shaadi, PK, etc. Born on 31st August 1938, Ram grew up in Delhi in a big Punjabi family with seven brothers and a sister. Having been influenced by his brother who worked in the theater, he left home in 1962 to try acting in films in Mumbai. He was supported in this decision by his father, who reportedly gave him 150 rupees as an allowance to be used for six months. Unfortunately, he did not find much success and returned to Delhi a year later. However, not the one to give up, he came back to Mumbai in 1964 and met filmmaker Ravi Tandon (father of actress Raveena Tandon). Tandon was not making any movies at that point but assured Ram that as soon as he could find a role for him, he would call him. With this assurance, Ram went back to Delhi.

Ganjendra Chauhan is an Indian veteran actor who is popular for his role of Yudhisthira in the mythological television serial Mahabharata. He has acted in a number of movies and television serials.

Tom Alter is a multifaceted acting personality who has showcased his acting skills in television, Hindi movies and in theaters. Tom Alter was born on Jun22, 1950 in Mussourie, Uttarakhand, India to a family of Christian missionary ancestry and has been awarded with Padmashree award by the Govt. of India in the year 2008. Arun Bakshi is an Indian TV actor and film actor. He was born in Ludhiana, Punjab and grew up in his very own home town. He studied in Arya College, Ludhiana and graduated from there. After graduation, he worked in the Punjab Agricultural University for a short period of time. Later, Bakshi shifted to Mumbai and there, he started his acting career in the year 1981. First he got small roles in TV serials and he worked in the small screen for a while. In the same year Bakshi got a role in a Hindi film "Sazaye Maut", a thriller suspense movie, he played some small role. Bakshi is popular for his role as Dhristadyumna in BR Chopra's movie, Mahabharat.

Surendra Pal was born in 1953, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Surendra Pal belonged to a middle class background and had no idea that one day he will be known as one of the leading actor in the Indian TV Industry. His entrance in the industry was by chance, but after that he worked hard and established himself in the industry.

Most children born in the 90s era would be familiar with the swanky yet graceful, only Indian superhero “Shaktimaan”, and almost every household in India would have witnessed, and loved the character of Bhishma Pitamah in B.R.Chopra’s cult classic Mahabharat. Both these roles were portrayed excellently by the magical Indian actor, producer, and director, Mukesh Khanna.
