Goga Kapoor

Goga Kapoor or Ravinder Kapoor was an actor. He was born in Gujranwala, British India on 15th December 1940. He did many Bollywood movies in his career. He was always known for his negative image in Bollywood movies. He died at the age of 70 on 3rd March 2011 due to some disease.

He did many plays in his early life. After that, he became a theateractor which helped him a lot in improving his personality. After which he got a small role in 1971 in the movie “Jwala”. He did many regional movies. He did many big bannered movies in his career. He came to Bollywood in the movie “Ek Kunwari Ek Kunwara”. He played a negative role in that movie. In 1973 he acted a role in the movie “Zanzeer” with the famous star cast Amitabh Bachchan, Pran, etc. After which his work was appreciated and he got many roles in different movies. He was portrayed as a villain in the movies. He played a role in the movie “Hera Pheri”, “Khoon Pasina” in 1976. In 1978 “Muqaddar Ka Sikandar” he did a beautiful negative role. He did many movies with Amitabh Bachchan like Mr. Natwarlal, Shaan, Dostana, Lawaaris, Satte Pe Satta, Coolie, Betaab, Mard, Toofan, Agneepath, etc. If he got a normal role in the movie people didn’t love that, they only loved his negative role in the movies. He got many awards for his negative role. He too played a role in the movie “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar”. He was mostly remembered by his fantastic work done in the movies Agneepath, Toofan, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Run in which he played the negative lead role. His last movie was “Darwaaza Bandh Rakho”. He did over 500 movies in his career and more than 20 with Amitabh Bachchan.

He played too many roles in different TV serials. His most famous role was Kans in the TV serial “Mahabharat”.
