Lakshiyam was a TV serial broadcasted on Kalaignar TV during the year 2008. Lakshiyam revolves around the character Parasuram, who is a multimillionaire with business interests in various fields. Parasuram is portrayed as a distinguished, well-mannered person and a philanthropist in the eyes of the society and the people around him believe him to be one too. Although, his criminal activities go under the radar unnoticed. A twist develops in the story with Parasuram trying to woo and trick a lady named Kavitha, who was the daughter of the General Manager of one of the companies owned by Parasuram. Kavitha had a sister who was killed by Parasuram. Parasuram plans of wooing Kavitha but it comes to an abrupt halt when Kavitha learns about Parasuram'. How Parasuram handles Kavitha and the way Kavitha fights her battle with Parasuram forms the core of the rest of the story.Â
