Karnan is the best archer in the epic Mahabharata. This story narrates the entire story of Karna, from his birth to returning to paradise.

Karnan was born to the Sun God and Kunti. As he was born prior to her marriage, Kunti abandoned him. Adhirathan, a charioteer who was working for Kunti’s father, saves Karnan. Adhirathan and Radha were blessed with Shon, on the same day Karnan was born. Adhirathan lies to his wife that Karnan is his son from his other wife, as he was not supposed to reveal the secret of Karnan’s birth. This makes Radha, Adhirathan’s wife, develop a hatred of Karnan. So, Radha abandons Karnan. It is only Adhirathan who cares for Karnan, but Karnan longs for his mother’s love. Once, when Karnan saves Radha’s life from danger, taking a risk on his life, the melted Radha starts treating him as her son. Soon, their lives take a turn, and they move to Hasthinapuram, where Kauravas and Pandavas live. After knowing Karnan’s talent, Sakuni brainwashed Duryodhana to befriend Karnan. In a situation, where Shon was given a death sentence in the Royal Court, none helped Karnan to save his brother’s life, but Duryodhana raised his voice for Karnan, only to get Karnan’s friendship to beat Pandavas. After a few years, Karnan returned to Hasthinapuram, completing his training from Parashuram. He was insulted as Soothra and Duryodhana utilized the situation, and made Karnan the King of Angadha and raised his status. This is the only point in Karnan’s life that made him do anything for Duryodhana. The rest of the story follows how he played a significant part in Kurukshetra.
