Indhulekha belongs to a low-income family. She sells milk for her survival. Originally, she belonged to a wealthy household. Parvathy Shenoy is her mother. After Indhu was born, her relatives separated her from her mother and made Parvathy believe that her child was born dead. After 22 years, Parvathy’s nephew Arun Shenoy’s marriage was fixed. But, as per his horoscope, it was said that his first wife would die in a few months of marriage. So, Vishwanath, Arun’s father, decided to get his son married to a poor girl, and after her death, they could get him married to a girl of their status. So, they found Indhu to be the best one to get married to Arun, but only for a few months. This is how, Indhu enters her family as a daughter-in-law.

Even after six months, as nothing happened to Indhu, Vishwanath, visited the same astrologer. The astrologer found out that he was provided with the wrong birth time, and hence the mistake. Besides this, the astrologer analyses Indhu’s horoscope and predicts that it is a lucky horoscope. However, Vishwanath wants to send Indhu out of the family. But Indhu becomes pregnant, and Parvathy decides to transfer all her assets to Indhu. At this time, Neeraja enters the Shenoy family as Parvathy’s niece. As per the wrong ideas by Neeraja and Abhirami, his ex-lover, Arun, tries to kill his baby in Indhu’s womb. However, she saves her child. Soon, Indhu learns her birth secrets from her stepfather. To know Neeraja’s intentions, she didn’t reveal her identity to Parvathy. What happens next? The rest of the story follows Indhu, Parvathy and Indhu’s kid.
