She also has an elder sister named Nimmy Thomas. Their father is a businessman while their mother is a housewife. Nithu finished her graduation in B-Tech and then worked for a private firm in Trivandrum, before making her debut in the Malayalam film industry. On 28th April 2016, she got married to Mr. Sreelash Sasi, a senior Software Engineer at L&T.
