Onaruchi is a Malayalam cookery show that airs on the channel Kerala Vision once a week. Each episode lasts from 19 to 25 minutes. The show features celebrities cooking special food items that are usually cooked for Onam, the most important Kerala festival. Festival feasts are special as they contain the essence of the festival air and the togetherness of a family. Each household may cook different foods for the occasion, and from the show, the viewers learn new special dishes.
The show opens with the anchor introducing the show and the celebrity being featured.
