Chayakada is a Malayalam television comedy series that airs on Kerala Vision. This show telecasts the comedy that usually happens in a tea shop. The actors of the series are the developing stand-up comedians from Kerala. Shamir, Rajan, Benny Abraham, Ravi Kunju, Bhagat Singh, and Sari who didn’t are new to the large screen. This television brings its viewers a specifically new concept every week. They bring a different form of comedy through this comedy show. This show doesn’t have an artificial set too. This show is performed in the real tea shop itself to give a realistic feel to the audience. It gives a natural comic atmosphere to the viewers. The timing comedies of the actors occupy completely. Unlike other shows, this does not have different themes, but they have a specific topic to discuss in each show.

They do not play various roles daily, and it is the continuity series with the same role throughout the series. They humorously discuss serious matters. But people will watch this series only when they felt bore, and it is also not interesting. They can relax for two to three minutes when they switch the channel. Beyond two to three minutes, it very hard to watch the show. Without new topics, this would not be the right entertaining partner of the week. They all play the same role, and the same set with the same form of funs will bore the audience. The actors will not have an experience of comedies so, it is wrong to expect interesting jokes from them. In the growing generation, the older things, which implement tea shop conversations, Lottery tickets, make the audience frown on the channel. The minds of the viewers start to move the channel, after five minutes.

Nobody will enjoy this kind of show as they follow the same strategy throughout the program. A simple scenario is that they will discuss the problems of someone or any other news on the teashop. There are no other amazing features to mention in the show. Maybe the concept of a natural setting without a studio can be used further. The comedians do not include the varied performances, no cinema clippings, mimicry in the show. There are no even charming faces in production. It will not be a perfect companion that changes our mood and throws our anger out. Nobody will waste time watching this series. But it is possible only if we don’t have enormous time. The weekends will turn drastic when the remote switch the show even unknowingly.
