Nalla Paadam is a Malayalam show broadcast on the Manorama news channel. Nalla Paadam is a show that celebrates brave students from various schools. Students who have outperformed them in school, not just academically, but also socially and morally, are honored in Nalla Paadam show. In one of the episodes, students from St Xavier School are given prizes for their social works. The students organized to contribute their old toys and books to orphanages and children, who are in need. A short video cum documentary is shot by these students that show their work. Some students plant some seeds in barren places to make a green environment, while some use their intellect to make awesome science projects that would help millions of people. These leaders, who initiate the change, are honored on this show. Their work is shown to the world and they are appreciated by the guests of Nalla Paadam.

The host of this show introduces these students. The guests also showcase their talents. One of the guests is a magician cum mind-reader. He plays a game with the audience. He asks them to choose a number and he would guess the name of their favorite actor, or a celebrity they are asking, or a fruit or what they are thinking of. This show entertains the students. Some other students collect all the plastic from all the dirty places with the help of their classmates. During one such visit, the students are cycling on their school campus. These cycles have been gifted by the principal of this school. The students are interviewed and their experience is shown to the audience. Using cycles saves our planet earth from pollution and makes it green and clean.

In St. Francis Sales C.B.S.E School, the students make the best out of waste i.e. used paper, cloth, and plastic bottle to make bags, fake plants, and pots, etc. Students plant trees in their schools and in and around their classes and libraries. In some schools, students visit farms and feed animals. They feed leaves to stray goats, water plants in nurseries, play with the animals, and clean public places. Even small kids take part in these activities.
