Plot
A serial killer, who is addressed as Banana Killer, killed three senior citizens in a village. Luke PP is on the suspect list due to his wild behaviour. He is in love with Jessie. However, she broke the relationship due to his behaviour. In a turn of events, Luke is struck in a bus at night with his girlfriend, a dead body, the bus conductor who searches for his missing father, the bus driver Jikku, the real killer, and ripe bananas. What happens inside the bus? Did the real killer escape? The rest of the story speaks about the link between them.
Star Performance
Basil gets another unique role in his career. He appears to be funny, yet his performance is impressive. He gels well in the comedy sequences that are the natural parts of the script, and gives a liveliness to the story. Puliyanam Poulose plays the hanging dead person. Anisha’s performance is solid and mature. Suresh Krishna and Siju Sunny delivered their best. Rajesh Madhavan did his role neatly. He is so natural, and his body language is good.
Analysis
The film has some interesting segments neatly penned. The casting team has picked the stars perfectly. Each one in the film delivers what is required of them. Though some stars didn’t get a solid role, they tried their level best to make their performances memorable; Babu Antony’s role is one such. Though the first half seems to be good, the second half loses its grip in narration. It loses its pace in the second half and after a couple of scenes, it becomes predictable, too. The climax is a bit violent. It should’ve been avoided. The cinematography is one of the important elements in the second half. The BGM elevates tension in some scenes.
