1. Khushboo Thakkar
Khushboo Thakkar is a renowned journalist turned television actress. She was hailed at Bhiwandi in Thane’s district, Maharashtra, India. Khushboo’s father is a photographer and her mother is a beautician. She has a sister who is studying B. Com and a brother who is in Class X. Khushboo made her schooling at the Holy Mary Convent High School and studied college at Nagindas Khandwala College in Mumbai. She took Bachelor of Mass Media (Journalism).
Khushboo started to enter the industry after working as an intern in IBN7 and as a reporter in tellychakkar .com. Then a friend of her informed her that she exactly fits the character they were looking for in the UTV Binadass serial, Merit Oh Lay Gayi Naukari under the production of DJ’s Creative Unit. They insisted Khushboo to audition for the show. She was first a gossip girl who works in an office and the production changed it and she became a receptionist, but she was not happy with the new character so she quits on the show. Afterwards, she started to consistently audition for other roles and she became unemployed for few months. She did not attend any workshops as well, so it’s been a tough time for Khushboo; until she got the chance and acted in the comedy series, Mrs. Tendulkar and appeared on two episodes. From then, she started to appear in different shows. She became part of the soap, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi on STAR One in 2011, replacing the character of Divya Bhhatnagar. Then, she made her appearance in Kya Huaa Tera Vaada as the cousin of Mona Singh. She also did her role as Honey in the television series, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein. Khushboo also made an appearance in the comedy drama serial, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum on STAR Plus.
She was also seen in the Indian drama series, Hongey Judaa Na Hum on Sony Entertainment TV in 2012. She played the role of Maria, the manager in the café of Muskaan (played by Aamna Shariff) who will become close to her. But later, Khushboo left the show because her role was reduced and sidelined. She even informed the creative team about this issue; however, her character remains unchanged.
Khushboo Thakkar wanted to be a radio jockey at first, but she ended up in the acting industry. She wished to do distinct roles and reality shows except for the Bigg Boss, since she cannot survive and stay in the house for at least a day. She also wants to do Comedy Circus and some dance-based shows.
