Roop Durgapal, an Indian television actress, aged 26, was born in Almora, Kumaon Hills, India on 15th October; 1988.She received a B.Tech degree in 2006 in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at Graphic Era Institute of Technology located in Clement Town, Dehradun.

She was an engineer working for software giant Infosys before entering the showbiz as an actress. She is an example of beauty of brains. Roop started her acting career with a role in Doordarshan’s daily soap opera. She quotes that her family was always supportive of her decision to make a career in acting.
