Mohit Sinha is an Indian commercial model and film actor. He started acting for three years on theatres. He did an acting workshop at Bhartendu Natya Academy (BNA) of Dramatic Arts, with Dr. Urmil Kumar Thapaliyal’s guidance. . He also did an acting workshop in Purvabhyas Theatre of Delhi in collaboration with Bond Street Theatre of
and Theatre of Afghanistan.
Mohit did some commercials for Gillette Shaving Gel and a promo commercial for the Nick channel. He was also starred in the Indian biographical drama film,
The Dirty Picture
which is based on the life of South Indian actress,
. Although his appearance in this film lasted for only two minutes, he took the eyes of many people leading him to more new projects. He played the role of a magazine reporter. Mohit also played the character of Lakhan Singh in the Bollywood film, Mohalla Assi in 2012. He also got the opportunity to be a part of Befikar Besahare, the World’s First Zero Budget Feature Film, under the direction of
. He also acted as a young guy from North India in the Marathi film, Jetaa under the banner of Ramesh Deo Production in 2010. Mohit was one of the stars in the Bollywood comedy film, Tukkaa Fitt as Ghalib Singh in 2012 and the comedy thriller film, Kismet Love Paisa Dilli from the same year.
From 2013 to 2014, Mohit made a comeback into the small screen. He played the role of Radhe in the Indian drama soap,
Ek Ghar Banaunga
on STAR Plus channel. He made an appearance in an episodic of crime show,
– India Fights Back and played the role of Sameer, the brother of Ranveer in Rakesh Kumar’s Sajda Tere Pyar Mein. He was the one who revealed the secret of Ranveer’s past. This year, Mohit appeared in the Hindi comedy-romance film, Kuku Mathur Ki Jhand Ho Gayi under the production of
