Pankaj Kalra was a popular Indian Voice artist that has performed voices for documentaries and has also voice-dubbed many foreign media in Hindi. He came to prominence as a supporting actor in movie ‘ Luck By Chance’ where he played the role of Konkona Sen’s agent. Konkona played the role of a budding actress and Pankaj played her agent. His last film was ‘ Mere Genie Uncle’ (3D) which had released in 2015. In 2010, the actor was also seen in the movie 'Emotional Atayachar'.

His younger brother Pawan Kalra is a renowned voice-over artist who has dubbed for Hollywood icon Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger. It was Pankaj who had introduced his brother to voice dubbing profession and his brother had really reached his zenith by dubbing for various Pogo, Disney Network and Cartoon Network programs even. Pankaj who retired from being dubbing artiste and wanted to try his luck in acting found his career moving in a very slow manner. His first film was Sanjay Gupta’s ‘ Musafir’ where he acted in an un- credited role. In 2007, he was again seen in Sherlyn Chopra's movie ' Red Swastik'. In 2012, he was seen in a comedy film ‘ Chal Pichchur Banate Hain’. Pankaj Kalra has a good voice and his skills of dubbing that are really trendy but why did not he continue as a voice over artist and chose to make a mark as a supporting actor is still not known.

Prithvi Zutshi is a well-known film and television actor. He donned films like Drohkaal and Ghulam. He was also part of the box-office romantic musical film, Andaaz in 2003 and the Bollywood suspense psychological film, Aetbaar in 2004. Later, the actor played the role Sameer Sikander in the Bollywood action thriller film, Elaan in 2005. He also appeared in the Hindi film, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena; the remake of the Hollywood film, Confidence in the same year. Also in 2005, the actor played as Dwarka in the Hindi crime drama film, Apaharan under the direction of Prakash Jha. In 2006, he appeared in the Bollywood crime thriller film, The Killer. Later, he was seen in Mohan Sharma’s Ruslaan and the Hindi film, Apni Yaari Jaan Se Pyari. He was also part of the 2007 Hindi film, Yaara along with Shabnam Kapoor and Sangeeta Tiwari. Prithvi also acted as the father of Aman (played by Aditya Narayan) in the box-office Bollywood film, Shaapit by Vikram Bhatt. In 2011, he acted in the movie, Aashiqon Ko Jalana Buri Baat Hai. In the same year, he was seen in the Bollywood thriller film, B & W: The Black and White Fact by Harbans Laali and in 2011, he was also seen in the film, Mere Aashiq.He has done television serials as well; Prithvi was part of the television serial, Rishton Ke Bhanwar Mein Uljhi Niyati on Sahara One. The actor became widely acclaimed for his performance in the political documentary series, Pradhanmantri. His portrayal as Vallabhhai Patel gained him praises and appreciation by the audience. He also made an appearance in the horror fiction show, Haunted House on Sahara One in 2013. Prithvi was also part of the drama soap, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV. He also made an episodic in the Hindi crime-based show, Savdhaan India – India Fights Back on Life OK and played as the father of the wedded boys who will get into trouble. Last 2014, the actor made an entry as MLA Beniwal, the politician father of Kuldeep (played by Alokk Narula) in the television series, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai… Ajab Sa Risk Hai on Life OK. He also acted as Harishankar Pandey, the father-in-law of Alka (played by Neha Pednekar) in the series, Shastri Sisters – Chaar Dil Ek Dhadkan which was aired on Colors TV in 2014.Prithvi is the real-life father of Kunal Singh who happens to be his co-actor in Niyati.


Ragesh Asthana

Ragesh Asthana, an Indian actor was born on 17 May, 1962 in Uganda. In 1972, his family relocated to Mumbai, India and they started living in Kala Kunj in Santa Cruz. As a child he loved to read comic books and fictional story books. He loved to act in Local Talent Day at Ganesh Mahotsav.  In Mumbai he did his schooling in Jamnabai Narsee High School and then enrolled in Mithibai College for further studies. His younger brother Dinesh is settled in New Zealand. In 1994, he got married with Jyothi and had two children Yuvaraj and Nanaki. Rajesh’s debut was in year 1987 in serial Subah in which he played the Appu Swami. He first auditioned for character named Prem but got rejected and then he auditioned for next best role and he got the role. Subah TV series was a success and his role gave him recognition. During some period of time he was getting offered similar roles like Appu Swami but he did not accept any of those offers because he was there to satisfy the actor in him, not to just make money. Meantime he worked in Discovery of India and Adhikar. It took quite a time to get role of Nikhil Singhani in Parivartan TV series telecasted on Zee TV in 1993 but his role as a rebellious person gave him attention. He also worked in Khamoshi, Palampur Express, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Katputli and many more TV serials. He was last seen in Gumrah serial in 2012. He has worked in Indian movies as well in The Victim as lawyer, Shabri as Sardool Seth, Rakht Charitra 2 a thriller by Ram Gopal Verma as Jailor, Taxi No. 9211 as Car Owner, Black Friday as Mohammad Dossa, Chhal as Inspector Patil. His debut film was Radha Ka Sangam in 1992.He died of heart attack in Mumbai on March 20, 2014 which spread wave of shock in TV industry as well as Bollywood. He will be remembered for his contribution towards industry and in his own words: The Power of Faith is boundless. It cannot be judged merely on the basis of immediate phenomena. As long as you maintain strong faith you can change anything.
