Ankita Bahuguna

Ankita Bahuguna was born on 17 February 1991 in Dehradun. Her family moved to the National Capital Territory of Delhi soon after her birth. It was there that she, along with her sister Aashima, spent most of her childhood and received her formal education. She began her acting career with some short appearances in a few episodes of “Shapath – Supercops V/S Supervillains” (2012), “Nadaiyaan” (2013) and the fourth season of “Gumraah” (2012). However, she came into focus only after she auditioned for and bagged the supporting role of Nazia Raza Ibrahim in Zee TV’s drama “ Qubool Hai Qubool Hai is an Indian TV opera soap regarding th >> Read More... ” (2015).

She later appeared in Sony TV’s “Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi” (2016) as Riya Dixit before making her Bollywood debut in “Jeet Lo Marathon” (2017) as the lead actress Manasi, opposite Aryan Neeraj Anand. Besides being a professional actress, Ankita Bahuguna is also a dedicated animal activist, often making contributions to the works of the organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). She is a seed technologist as well, the science of which deals with improving the physical and genetical characteristics of a plant seed.
