Prerna Panwar

Prerna Panwar is a Hindi television actress and an anchor who works in Indian television industry. She has acted in many television shows but is recognized for her performance in Kuch rang Pyar ke aise bhi, a serial which is aired on Sony TV, Polimer TV, Ary Zindagi, etc.

Prerna was born on 17thFebruary 1985 in a Gwalior family in Dehradun. Born and brought up in Dehradun itself she completed her studies from the convent of Jesus and Mary school and did her graduation in journalism and mass communication from Amity University. For further studies, she did her post-graduation in the same.

She has worked as an intern during her college days for various television channels, newspapers and shows. Prerna was born to Mr. S S Panwar. He works in a bank, and her mother is a housewife. Prerna started her career as an anchor working for the ETV channel. She worked for a year for an entertainment based show and then left the job. Coming to Mumbai after quitting, she moved here to achieve her aim of becoming an actress. At first, she did the job as an assistant director for television as a part-time work and gave audition much time for different roles.

She did various roles in shows like gumraah aired channel V, UTV Bindass, Colors show Code red and MTV Webbed. Gumraah: end of innocence as the title goes is a crime series that is telecasted on Indian channel V. The show is mainly about the crime that youngsters commit. Gumraah shows various incidents on such issues.
