Directed by Natarajan, the serial was initially released on 26th October 2020 and told the story of a young girl named Abhi. Abhi is an eight-year-old girl with a charming and charismatic personality. Saravanan brought her up. He is a single father who works as a driver for a wealthy family and has raised Abhi as his adopted daughter. However, it is soon revealed that Abhi’s biological parents are none other than the employers of Saravanan. Meena and Shiva had to give up their firstborn because of a prediction of fate revolving around their deaths. Saravanan had been kind enough to adopt the child then. Abhi develops a close bond with her mother Meena but faces conflict against several family members, including Meena’s son Mukhil, Shiva’s younger sister Girija, and the family matriarch Rajeshwari. Mukhil feels jealous that Abhi was getting all the attention but gradually makes a close bond with her after discovering her sweet and pleasing personality. He becomes friendly towards her, but soon Abhi is sent to a hostel after everyone finds that she is Meena’s daughter, which increases the conflict in-between everyone.

Upon the request of Saravanan, Meena decides to take Abhi away from the hostel secretly. However, they get pursued by goons who had been sent to kill both Meena and Abhi on their way. They get rescued by an auto-driver named Vaathi. It is later revealed that Vaathi’s father and Rajeshwari were siblings, but things had taken an ugly turn when he had married Janaki, a poor woman. Astrologers had predicted that Vaathi’s father would die if he married Janaki, but he hadn’t listened, and that’s when Rajeshwari had broken all ties with him. Vaathi’s father died five years of his marriage, leaving behind Janaki and their kids. After being rescued by Vaathi, Meena tells her about Abhi’s situation, and Vaathi agrees to care for her. She keeps Abhi in her house disguised as a boy named Abhishek. A series of events lead Sumo, Girija’s son, and Mukhil to learn Tamil from Sekkilar, Janaki’s father. They develop a friendship with Abhishek without knowing that it’s Abhi in disguise.

Meanwhile, Rajeshwari’s youngest son Raghu falls in love with Vaathi while dropping Sumo and Mukhil at her house. However, Vaathi doesn’t share the feelings and slaps him when he proposes to her. However, gradually with time, they both grow feelings for each other and try to pursue one another in several failed attempts. However, conflict arises from both the families and several uncovered truths come out in the limelight in a series of events. This leads to absolute chaos and uncertainty of the future altogether. Will the fight for love bear successful results, and whether Abhi’s real identity comes to the surface amidst all the chaos is what constitutes the rest of the story.
