The 6th edition of coruscating Asianet television award show was held on 13th May 2013, at the Nehru Stadium, Kottayam. The event is organized by the Asianet channel at various venues in the state of Kerala in order to honor the sparkling artistic and technical performances in Malayalam television industry. The event witnessed the presence of some celebrated and charismatic personalities from film fraternity and socio-cultural sphere. Karikkineth Silk Villagio was the title sponsor of the mega event.

Moreover, Krishnamoorthy adjudged the Best Director award for the same serial. In an exclusive accord, serial Amma was felicitated with Popular Malayalam serial.
The event had more than 20 categories of awards, including best negative character, best lyricist, best music composer, best editing, best comedian, best playback, best camera operator and much more vouchsafed to the winners at the glossy award show. The star-studded show glitzed by the stupendous performances from the cine and television stars. Besides, the TV/film comedians and singers bewitched audiences with their huge performances. The show was premiered on Asianet channel on 25th May 2013, at 6:30 pm.
