Shivangi lives with her mother, Shivanya, who is a serpent. Shivangi is unaware of her real identity of being a shapeshifting serpent. The story introduces a new character, Rocky. Rocky is the foster grandson of Yamini ( Shivanya’s mother-in-law). Shesha, another shapeshifting serpent and rival of Shivanya is in love with Rocky. But Rocky eventually falls in love with Shivangi. Yamini approves the marriage of Shivangi and Rocky to kill Shivanya.

Yamini, Shesha, and Avantika finally succeed in their motive and kill Shivanya. This incident forces Shivangi to learn about her true self. Shivangi learns about the connection between Shivani and her murders. She decides to avenge her mother. Shivangi marries Rocky to enter the house but misinterprets Rocky as one of the murders. Yamini and her gang spares Shivangi’s life as she claims about her memory loss. The ultimate goal of the Yamini was to get the prestigious gem called Naagmani. Shivangi meets Rudra, another shapeshifting serpent who also holds grudges against them. Shivaangi kills four out of eight killers with Rudra. But Avantika realizes the truth about Rudra and kills him. Shivangi learns Avantika’s weakness and kills her. Yamini and Shesha learn the truth about Shivangi. Shivangi turns Shesha into stone.

Rocky discovers the truth about Shivangi and decides to punish her. He consummates his marriage, which leads to Shivangi losing her powers. Later, Shivangi realizes she still has her powers and decides to strike back. Meanwhile, Rocky becomes a serpent as he belongs to a serpent family. He unknowingly frees Shesha. Shesha then becomes the head of Takshika’s clan. Shivangi and Rocky reunite after Rocky learns the truth about the murders. They kill Yamini and Shesha. But the audience is left on a cliffhanger when Rocky kills Shivangi. Rocky kills Shivangi on the order of Ritik (Shivangi’s birth father). Shivangi could not understand the reason for the betrayal but promised to return for revenge. Naga Kannike season 2 has a grasping storyline with multiple twists and turns.
