Krishna Tulasi is a Kannada television series. The show can be categorized under the very popular genre of Drama/Romance. The story follows two characters, namely Tulsi and Krishna. Tulsi is a young girl who lives with her family. She is kind and brave and has many good qualities. Her family is looking for a perfect groom for her. They get many options but aren’t able to find the right man who matches her. Krishna is a guy who plans to steal the statue of Lord Ganpati from Tejaswi’s farmhouse. He fails miserably and is confronted by Tulsi who is a friend of Tejaswi. Krishna feels humiliated after Tulsi confronts him in front of so many people. He wants to seek revenge. Later he finds out that Tulsi is throwing a party and Krishna upon learning this, ends up at her place and smears the cake on Tulsi’s face and humiliates her. Soon Tulsi gets kidnapped by Vikram and he forces her to accept his marriage proposals. Tulsi rejects his proposals and when she comes back home after escaping from his clutch, she shares the torture she went through and shares that Vikram committed suicide in front of her. She is very upset and scared.
Krishna, upon learning that Tulsi is fine feels elevated and learns about his feelings towards her. He is not sure about whether to share it with anyone. The rest of the plot revolves around how Tulsi and Krishna fall in love with each other and how Tulsi and Krishna shield their family and their relationship from Chitra, who wants to destroy their family because of her family’s devastating fall in the hands of Tulsi. The show mixes elements of romance and drama with the right kind of thrill and revenge. The show is praised for its acting and direction. The show has 132 episodes and telecasted on the popular Kannada channel, Star Suvarna.
