Galli Galli Sim Sim was a series aimed at making kids educated. It was telecast in India’s all leading children's TV channels, Turner's Cartoon Network, POGO and even Doordarshan. Under our government program that aimed at teaching kids without bringing distinction of creed and colour, the show was launched primarily in the Hindi language. It also contained sub-titles in English. For the first time, the producers of the show inserted educational curriculum into this animated program so that educational effects are studied. The show was telecast in four seasons. The puppet character included Indian boys and girl muppets.
