Pankaj Kikani

Pankaj Kikani is an associated producer, writer and director who works in the ad film industry of India. Pankaj has been around the industry for quite a while, he also has done several projects in Bollywood but only in the background. Born in Bihar, Pankaj completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s. In his school days, he played for the cricket team of his district and also won several awards for music instruments. In 1990, he joined Pranav Motion Pictures as an executive producer and writer. Pankaj worked for over 8 years and delivered on many projects including films, ad films and TV serials. In 1998, Pankaj started working as a freelance writer, designer, producer and singer.

He went on to write and direct a number of very popular regional ad films, TV shows and TVCs. He also did many stage shows for major events and huge functions. During the same time, he also working on his music and would go on to release his own album which was released and broadcasted on national TV channels. For 3 years, Pankaj was working as the freelance artist doing everything and he also did a lot of radio shows where he sang songs and played numerous instruments.

In 2001, Pankaj joined Prime Channel as their supervising producer and overlooked many events in his time for around 5 years. After his stint in Prime Channel, he worked for a couple of more agencies and then in 2009 he was hired by Miditech pvt. Ltd. as their supervising producer. At Miditech, he was the project head of the very popular kid’s show known as ‘Gali Gali Sim Sim season 4 and 5’. He also worked on the show ‘Kyunki Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ which was infotainment for UNICEF.

All throughout his career, Pankaj has been an associated producer on TV shows like Gharwali Uparwali Gharwali Uparwali, translated to My Wife, and The >> Read More... , Hum Saath Ath Hai, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Buddha: Raajaon Ka Raaja. These have been some of the most classic and nostalgic TV serials which have still remained popular. He also directed ad films for classic ads like match spots for ICC World cup and other ads for Shera Wintowzz, Shera Fitline,Jai Allankar Jewellers and he also wrote all these ads. Currently, he is working in Prime Channel, as their senior Head of Operations. He has been working there since 2016, overlooking many projects.
