Malgudi Days Swami & Friends 1 is a novel based drama-comedy serial on Doordarshan network. The serial is based on the novels of the same name by R.K. Narayan. The story focuses and revolves around the fictional sleepy little village named Malgudi and its residents. Swami a small boy along with other residents born in the village leads a very modest life.
However, fate throws several obstacles in their path which they try to overcome without ever giving up. No matter what, they stick together. Each and every day becomes an adventure for them and they struggle together to survive in the midst of absolute chaos, trying to heal all the emotional ties that get disturbed in the process.
