Initially they were enemies and do not like each other however in due course they start to like and finally fall in love. They get married to each other and start to live in a large joint family called as Mittal family. This family is very affectionate and gentle and becomes the basis for the couple to start their family journey together with love. Every episode of the serial is the series of incidents that happen in the family. With the start of Kutumb, Sony TV continued to give a decent entertainment for all the viewers leaving behind tremendous TRP ratings. The performance of the lead roles played by Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan is much appreciated. Kutumb ran as two seasons with 251 episodes and is considered as one of the best serials produced by Balaji Telefilms.
