These seven contestants danced with their real as well reel partners. The judges and the studio audience voted for the couple with the best chemistry. The channel claimed that the show was a trend setter among a clutter of dancing reality shows and the viewers witnessed for the first time the actual chemistry between their favourite star and his/her real and reel partner respectively. The show progressed on the basis of elimination. The elimination was based on two of the lowest scores of the two bottom contestants who then chose to perform with their partner ( Pyaar or yaar) once more on the song they had performed earlier. The judges then decided which contestant had improved and the elimination took place. The grand finale was in week 7 when all the eliminated contestants also performed once again with their partners.
